Brivo B-BSPKF-W Smart Reader (Tri-Tech + Keypad)
The B-BSPKF-W is the do-everything reader in white — the black B-BSPKF-B finished for light walls. Single-gang, keypad on board, and it reads the full stack: Brivo Mobile Pass on phones, encrypted 13.56 MHz smart cards (B-SC, B-SCP) and B-SF fobs, legacy 125 kHz HID Prox, and PINs. When a building wants one reader that fits every door — the strict back rooms and the easy front entrance, the old prox cards and the new phones — this is the part that covers all of it without a second model in the truck.
The keypad is the strict end. Run a PIN on its own where a credential is overkill, or credential-plus-PIN two-factor where it matters: present the phone or card, then key in the code. With OSDP secure channel keeping everything encrypted between reader and panel, and the encrypted smart card as the credential, a door like that is locked down about as far as one opening goes — which is what you want on a medical records room, a server closet, or a cash office.
And it still does the easy front-of-house thing. At the entrance you skip the PIN and let people tap with a phone in their pocket, unlock from the app, or switch on Face ID for the handful who want it — or keep using the prox card you haven’t gotten around to replacing. Same honest order as the rest of the tri-tech line: encrypted smart card and PIN are the strong pair, prox and plain Bluetooth are the convenient, weaker legs. You dial the security up where it counts and leave the lobby relaxed, all from one reader.
It works with any current Brivo panel from the ACS100-E to the ACS6000-E / 6100-E, mounts in a standard 1-gang box, and carries the usual multi-color LED, beeper, IP55 rating and −35 to 66 °C range — enough for a covered exterior keypad door through a Chicago winter. The black version is the B-BSPKF-B. No prox to carry? The dual-tech keypad B-BSKF-W is simpler; no PIN needed? The non-keypad tri-tech B-BSPSF-W covers the migration without the keypad. For the full lineup logic, the reader guide is the read. For this specific door, a quick message is faster.
