Brivo ACS-100 Single-Door Control Panel
The ACS-100 is the single-door panel — for a job with exactly one door, or for that one outlying door on a bigger building that sits too far from the panel to be worth a cable run. A stairwell exit on a far floor, a single gate, a pump house across the lot: you don’t drag a home run back to the panel in the basement, you drop an ACS-100 right at the door and give it a network jack. One cable does it — PoE brings the network and the power down the same Ethernet run, so there’s less to pull and less to land. A tenant suite, a server room, a side entry, the gym door on an amenity floor — this is the panel for it.
What you’re really getting, same as the rest of the line, is Brivo’s cloud. There’s no access server in a closet to babysit — credentials, schedules, and the audit trail all live in Brivo’s cloud, replicated (the company says) across at least three separate hardened servers with backups behind that. We’ve had to piece a Paxton site back together after a local database went sideways; with Brivo that call just doesn’t come. The manager logs in from a browser, hands a tenant a mobile credential or kills one in a few seconds, and sees the door live — open, secure, online or not — which is exactly what you want to know the morning after a storm or a power blip.
It does the modern stuff without making a production of it. The reader runs over OSDP v2 secure channel — encrypted, so a credential can’t be skimmed off the wires behind it — with Wiegand still there for an older reader you’re keeping. Run Brivo Mobile Pass on phones and the building’s old 125 kHz prox cards together, since a multi-tech reader handles both; enroll a third-party fob if that’s what people already carry; leave the door unlocked on a daytime schedule and flip it to credential-only at night. And when the internet drops, the panel keeps the door working on its own and uploads the logs the moment it’s back — it doesn’t fall over without the cloud.
It runs on PoE or 12 V DC, reads Brivo’s Smart Readers along with HID Signo / iCLASS SE and any OSDP v2 reader, and it’s our default for one-door jobs and add-a-door requests around Chicago. Two doors at the site instead of one? The ACS300-E-B is the better buy. No closet to put a panel in and you’d rather mount right at the door? Look at the ACS-SDC-E edge controller. Get in touch and we’ll figure out the right one.
