Brivo B-BSKF-W Smart Reader with Keypad

The B-BSKF-W is the white single-gang Brivo Smart Reader with a built-in keypad — the black B-BSKF-B finished to blend into a light wall. The keypad is why you reach for it. Most doors are happy with a tap, but the ones that want a second factor get it here: run a PIN by itself where that’s enough, or credential-plus-PIN two-factor where it counts — phone or fob first, then the code. It’s the reader for the medical records room, the server closet, the cash office, the door that needs “something you know” stacked on “something you have.”

Past the keypad it’s the same modern reader as the rest of the line. Brivo Mobile Pass over Bluetooth and NFC, encrypted 13.56 MHz smart cards (B-SC, B-SCP) and B-SF fobs, and OSDP secure channel back to the panel — encrypted, so neither the credential nor the PIN is readable off the wires if someone gets behind the reader. Wiegand’s there for legacy installs. The encrypted channel plus a real second factor is about as tight as one door gets, which is the point of putting this model where the value is.

And it still handles the easy doors. At a building entrance you can drop the PIN and let people tap with a phone in their pocket, unlock from the app, or ask for Face ID on the few doors that warrant it — you fit the security to the opening. Having the keypad on board just means one reader covers both the relaxed front-door flow and the strict interior one, so the building isn’t stocking two different parts.

It works with any current Brivo panel from the ACS100-E up to the ACS6000-E / 6100-E, mounts in a standard 1-gang box, and carries the same multi-color LED, beeper, IP55 rating and −35 to 66 °C range — enough for a covered exterior keypad door through a Chicago winter. The black version is the B-BSKF-B. No PIN required? The plain B-BSSF-W is simpler. Need the keypad and legacy 125 kHz prox? The tri-tech B-BSPKF-W covers the lot. Between this and the black version, it’s purely the wall’s call. Between this and the other five readers — that’s the guide’s job, or ours.
