The P50 is the most-installed Paxton Net2 reader — fits the majority of commercial door positions cleanly, supports the standard Paxton token credentials, and works on both Net2 (networked) and Switch2 (single-door) controllers.
MIFARE Variants
The standard P50 reads Paxton tokens + EM 125 kHz. For projects requiring 13.56 MHz MIFARE smart cards, Paxton offers MIFARE-capable variants of the same form factor on request — specified at site walkthrough per credential policy. We don’t list MIFARE variants as separate product pages.

For established Paxton Net2 / Switch2 sites, the P50 is the standard reader. For greenfield projects, the Paxton10 Slimline Reader (Paxton’s modern cloud platform) is typically a better choice — built-in Bluetooth + multi-format reading + cloud admin.
