The HID Signo 40 PIV Reader is the FIPS 201-compliant variant of the HID Signo 40 standard wall reader from HID Global — adding PIV / CAC / TWIC / FRAC government credential support to the standard Signo 40’s multi-technology + mobile reading. Standard single-gang form factor with OSDP v2 AES-128 encrypted secure channel + Wiegand legacy support. IP55-rated for indoor and protected outdoor positions.
