The HES 9500 Series Genesis III is the fire-rated sibling of the HES 9400 — a 3-hour UL 10C fire-rated surface-mounted electric strike for commercial rim exit devices with a 3/4” Pullman latch. All components are completely encased within the 3/4”-thick stainless steel housing, so installation requires no cutting on the frame, making it ideal for retrofitting fire-rated openings (NFPA 80-07 compliant for retrofit into fire-rated frames). Field-selectable 12 / 24 VDC and field-selectable fail-secure / fail-safe operation.
