The 2N IP Verso is a modular IP video intercom platform that can be configured with any combination of camera, keypad, card reader, Bluetooth, touch display, and call button modules. This modularity makes the IP Verso one of the most flexible intercom platforms available for commercial and residential building entries.
Modular Design
The IP Verso’s core strength is its interchangeable module system. A small office might need only a camera unit and single call button. A 200-unit condo building might deploy a camera unit, touch display directory, RFID reader, and Bluetooth module — all in a single frame. The same platform scales from simple to complex.
System Components
The base unit includes an HD camera, speaker, and microphone. Additional modules snap into the frame beside it:
- Keypad Module — Numeric PIN entry for buildings using code-based access
- RFID Module — Reads 13.56MHz and 125kHz cards and fobs for credential-based entry
- Bluetooth Module — Accepts smartphone credentials via Bluetooth and NFC
- Touch Display — Capacitive touchscreen for resident directory browsing
- Button Modules — Physical call buttons for direct unit calling
Indoor Answering Units
The 2N Indoor View provides a 7-inch touchscreen monitor for answering video calls from the door station. The 2N Indoor Compact offers a more economical answering station. Both connect over the building’s IP network. Alternatively, 2N Mobile Video delivers calls directly to smartphones, eliminating the need for indoor hardware entirely.
Frames and Mounting
Frames are available in single, double, and triple configurations with flush-mount and surface-mount options. Rain hoods are available for outdoor installations exposed to weather.
Integration Capabilities
The IP Verso communicates via SIP protocol and offers Wiegand output, HTTP API, and ONVIF compatibility. This allows integration with third-party access control systems (Brivo, Paxton), VMS platforms (Axis Camera Station, Hanwha WAVE), and building management systems.
